Alexa been hooping for 11 years and performing on various round-shaped aerial props for 8. Since graduating from Circomedia in 2018 with a BA in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, she has worked within the performance industry internationally; as an aerialist, a circus teacher, a compère and a stage manager.

Having never touched an aerial hoop until she was 23, Alexa is proof that you do not need prior experience in gymnastics, ballet or dance to find yourself a home within the circus arts. Practicing inclusivity and kindness in all of her teaching, she values individuality, celebrating people's differences and an approach to exercise that centres how you it makes you feel rather than how it makes you look
