Have you ever dreamed of running away to the circus? Well... now is your chance! This Aerial Hoop class is for total newbies - no dance or fitness background required! During these classes we will be using the hoop to improve your strength and stamina as well as executing beautiful shapes. The class ends with a good stretch and cool down to improve suppleness and flexibility.

Strengthen your foundation moves and build your hoop repertoire! Whether you have hoop experience elsewhere, or have attended our beginners classes - you are welcome to try out this class. You will learn to combine the tricks taught in beginners and start to work on balances and new transitions. You will also learn more advanced hangs and be introduced to some top bar tricks!
Prerequisites: Double knee hang, roll into half cresent moon and comfortable in a range of seats such as man in the moon, cradle, cross legged seat.

This class is for students who have attended Intermediate Aerial Hoop at Maya and have been told by an instructor at Maya that they are ready for Advanced Hoop. We cover a lot of transitions from trick to trick as well as advanced top-bar tricks and hangs.
