YOGA AND FLEXIBILITY


Inspired by Ashtanga Yoga, we start this class with sun salutations to get the body warm and the mind focused. We then move on to a range of standing and seated poses - holding each side and pose for 5 counts. This class has a relaxed atmosphere and is suitable for people who have never done yoga before - or for people who practice regularly. A variety of options are given throughout so you are always working at a level that is suitable for you. The poses practiced focus on stretching and strengthening muscles required for splits and we finish the class with PNF stretching targeting hip flexors and hamstrings.
